Tim Thomas describes himself as an illustrator that writes. He is a children's book author and illustrator from Panama City, FL., with over 10 titles to his credit. His newest release is entitled, DIDYANO? (Did you know?) Animal Families of the Zoos & Aquariums and it is the Winner of the National Best Book 2008 Awards by USA Book News - Children's Educational category. Recently, the main character of his books, Buddy Manatee and A Manatee Christmas, has been featured on signs commissioned by the Jacksonville Zoo and the Save the Manatee Club to be distributed around the state. Tim is available for school visits, literature events and wildlife festivals. His Be Aware and Care program uses animal fun facts and trivia to Edutain kids of all ages. Tim will assist organizations in community and parental involvement activities and his books can be used for fundraising opportunities.

Timothy D Thomas is the Author and Illustrator of the book entitled, DIDYANO? (Did you know?) - Animals of the Zoos and Aquariums. This book was named WINNER of the National Best Book 2008 Awards in the Children's Education category.

DIDYANO? -Animal Families of the Zoo and Aquariums is a book full of collective nouns and bold whimsical illustrations. There are many terms used to describe a group of animals; i.e. a Pride of Lions or a Pod of Dolphins. These terms are called collective nouns and are the main theme for the book.

DIDYANO? is a two-sided, flip-book containing animal fun facts, trivia and family group names of thirty-one different animals. One side of the flip-book is all about animals found in zoos and zoological parks while the other side is about animals that are found in marine parks and aquariums. The center page is about Butterflies. Each page is boldly illustrated for young readers and has a wild and zany DIDYANO? facts that kids of all ages will enjoy.

Tim and Terri are the principle owners of their company Thomas Expressions Publishing Company.

Tim is the author and illustrator of the books and Terri assists as Office Manager and Literary Agent. Tanis travels with Mom and Dad helping with book signings, workshops and equipment. Together they write and illustrate children's books, do all the layout and design work, to publish their own books.
